I'm better nowhere bound than drowning on your solid ground.

It's finally feeling like autumn.

I've had an internal monologue going on in my head all day today. In fact, I imagine it like Harry's voiceovers in Goblet of Fire. So, if you happen to read this, please picture me walking to the Owlery to deliver a letter to Sirius.

I wish I could reach my creative potential here. Or any potential, really.

I feel like I've just hit a roadblock, which is fine because that's life. Roadblocks break up the monotony. But whilst waiting for the road to clear, I'm sinking into the ground. Much worse than every year at prom when it would storm and my heels would become golf tees.

There is a very attractive picture of Robert Pattinson on my desk. Just thought you'd all like to know that.

Back to my point: I'm stuck. In reality, it's not so bad. But why should it be bad at all? College is supposed to be the time of my life. Apparently, I haven't had a life this past month. And that's not entirely an exaggeration. Why bother settling for something that is bearable when the college of my dreams could be out there somewhere?

I have a lot to ponder.

What have I not covered since my last blog?
I'm done with marching band.
I graduated.
I'm done with Neylon Dance Studio.
I went to Forks.

Holy mountain goat. That's a lot. Only the first, third, and fourth things on that list are actually of significant meaning to me.

Sometimes I really wish I could capture moments on film in my mind. Or at least the feeling. But then I realize, I can't just pick one moment, even if it were possible. I'd like to say I'd pick senior night of marching band, because it was the most memorable night of my life. But then I think back to all of my dance recitals, all those nights spent stargazing on Lauren's deck, every car ride in Jimmy, each time I read a Twilight or Harry Potter book. My life has been so idealistic. And while I'm eternally grateful, this leads me back to being stuck. How does life get any better than that?

There's nothing here to keep me as happy as I've been over the past few years. And let me tell you, it really sucks when your life gets downgraded.

But I brought this upon myself and now it's up to me to do something about it.

I'm going to become a music education major. Hopefully that'll do the trick.

Happy fall =]
